Classes are held from mid-October to mid-March (while the weather is temperate). There is a two week break between the semesters. The core curriculum comprises Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Epistemology, and Tibetan Language. The courses are designed to meet the needs of both beginners and advanced students. Classes are taught in Tibetan, and are translated into English.
